Delete branch "fix/rabbitmq-image"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
The operator's mutating webhook is the only thing that fills spec.image from
DEFAULT_RABBITMQ_IMAGE, and the StatefulSet it builds copies the field verbatim
with no fallback. This release runs ENABLE_WEBHOOKS=false, so that env var is
read by a component that is not running and the operator retried forever on
"spec.template.spec.containers[0].image: Required value" — building no
StatefulSet, no PVC and no pod, so rabbitmq-server-0 never existed to inspect.
So the CR names the image itself, with the chart's own value and the digest the
chart pinned, and test_gitops keeps it named: empty, floating, or without
-management all fail, the last because that tag is what carries the plugin
behind 15672 and its absence is a silent one.
The two comments claiming webhooks-off means only "no admission validation" said
the thing that caused this, so they now say what else it costs.
